I have lived in the Northeast WI area all my life. I was raised in a Catholic home. I had my Catholic confirmation at Holy Name Church in Wausau in 1974. My family is a member of St. Marks Catholic Church in Rothschild, WI. I am a mother of three children. We are raising our children in the Catholic faith. My youngest child, Ashley, is currently an eighth grader at our school.

My professional goal is to increase my knowledge of the state preschool standards and apply them to my classroom.

My preschool classroom is unique for many reasons. My students are able to do activities with older students and siblings. We have a family environment in our school. We are able to celebrate all the Catholic holidays and seasons. I use Catholic values when I am teaching students how to interact with others. We work on academics to prepare them for kindergarten. I use small group, large group, individual, and learning centers. I have some art time, handwriting time, snack time, free play time, and game time. Every day we count, read, sing, write, eat, and play.
