Our Music Ministry

Parish Office

Music is integrated with the liturgy so that the congregation is enabled and encouraged to actively participate in the celebration of the Mass. Music is provided for funeral Masses as well as at the weekend Masses. Scheduling varies throughout the year and church seasons. Sharing one's talent to enhance the liturgy is a welcome addition. Volunteers who wish to serve as cantors or wish to lead the congregation in song are welcome. Those who can play a musical instrument are needed.

Hospitality

Emmy Hack

693-4142

We, as Christians, need fellowship along with prayer, worship, education and stewardship. To help promote this fellowship, St. Paul Parish, through the Hospitality Committee, hosts eight fellowship breakfasts each year from October through May, following the 8:30 a.m. Mass. The breakfasts are held in the lower level of the church. All parishioners are invited to attend. A schedule of parish families is used so that each family is called upon once every 1-2 years to either host, serve, clean up or provide the breakfast fare. This is done alphabetically on a rotating basis. All other attendees enjoy themselves free of charge. The Hospitality Committee also offers their services at any other special events as they are called upon to help.

Prayer Ministry

Suzette Matis

693-2573

The Prayer Ministry involves a number of parish members who volunteer to pray for special intentions. The intentions are mailed to each volunteer monthly. This program gives the homebound of our parish family a very real and spiritual ministry in which they can serve…and thereby they have a greater awareness of the importance of their membership in our parish family even though they cannot attend.
